About Me
I’m Dr Shyam Patel, an implant and restorative dentist working across clinics in Manchester.
A significant part of my practice involves patients referred to me for implant and complex restorative treatment. In these situations, trust has already been placed in me by both the patient and the referring clinician. I approach that responsibility with care, and with a calm and measured manner that I believe helps patients feel at ease throughout treatment.
My approach is thorough but unhurried. I take time to assess carefully, plan in detail and explain options clearly, so that patients feel informed and comfortable with each stage of their care. I believe high quality dentistry should feel considered and well supported, not overwhelming.
Delivering a very high standard of care is central to how I work. That means attention to detail, careful execution and consistent follow up, with a long term view of health and stability. I aim for treatment that is precise, predictable and appropriate for the individual.
I qualified from the University of Manchester and have completed postgraduate training in Advanced Cosmetic and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry. My clinical focus is implant and restorative dentistry, delivered with minimally invasive principles and a commitment to ongoing care.
Whether I am working directly with a patient or alongside a referring colleague, my aim is the same: to provide care that feels calm, carefully managed and held to the highest standard.
Why I do what I do
Dentistry is about more than teeth. It’s about restoring comfort, confidence and quality of life. For many patients, treatment marks a turning point – helping them eat comfortably again, speak with confidence and smile without hesitation.
